Moving to 0.1.2: your data and the release channels

What the Rust and Tauri transition means for existing users, profiles and the encrypted vault.

Current Beta and older releases

Beta 0.1.2 with Rust and Tauri 2 is released under the new name CH-J Tools and is the default download. Alpha 0.1.1 and Beta 0.1.0 remain available as older releases. The gallery still shows the Alpha 0.1.1 interface in the language of this page.

Continuity for your local data

Since version 0.1.2, the application uses the “CH-J Tools” data folder. On first launch, it moves the existing “CH-J Server Manager” folder into it, including the vault; if the new folder already contains data, it leaves both unchanged. The vault format does not change. Back up application data before updating and close the previous version.

Security remains part of the workflow

SSH host-key checks, encrypted local credentials and signed application updates remain central. Before use, check the actual package, channel, build identifier and limitations. Rust and Tauri do not replace backups or release testing.
